As with regular Chime sittings, sometimes Chime+ parents will need to cancel a booking as well. When this happens, we at Chime will notify a sitter immediately. Additionally, a Chime+ sitter may be eligible for some compensation!
Below are the guidelines for Chime+ parent cancellations, and what compensation may be available to the sitter.
- For parent cancellations after 5pm for a Chime+ booking that begins the next day, we pay the Chime+ sitter in full up to 4 hours.
- For any Chime+ booking in which a parent cancels within 90 minutes of the start time, we pay the Chime+ sitter in full up to 4 hours.
- NOTE: This 90 minute payout is an alternative to, not in addition to, the post-5pm payouts listed above.
