What are these Additional Job Opportunities emailed to me?
When Chime parents are trying to book a sitter, sometimes no sitter will have that availability on their calendar and we can't present immediate options to the family. In these cases, we send out an email request to nearby sitters and they can say whether or not they're interested in the gig. If you're interested, we'll present your profile to the family, but there's not guarantee you'll be booked. Parents have 24 hours to follow up with these requests and book someone.
Additionally, you may receive the occasional text alerting you of an additional job. This typically means a family was cancelled on. In addition to an email, we send out texts to speed up the process of finding a new sitter for the cancelled-on family.
