Lead Sitter Expectations
What is Ready-to-Work?
As Chime+ sitters, you are the saving grace of parents and expect the unexpected. You are true professionals and are Ready-to-Work for any availability you set.
What does ready-to-work mean?
- You plan on being at your booking (within your specified radius) by 8am.
- Since you've planned on being ready by 8am, you have plenty of time to make your introductory call before your booking to learn about any family particulars.
- Finally, you arrive on time with a smile and calming demeanor that puts both the parents and child(ren) at ease.
Should I be ready-to-work even if I have not been booked?
Yes. Life is full of uncertainty and opportunity. Perhaps a family’s regular sitter suddenly fell ill or there was an unexpected work trip. In either case, you are Ready-to-Work.
What if I am not ready-to-work and I am booked?
If you are a Chime+ sitter and have planned to be available, then it is expected that you are Ready-to-Work. Our sitter attendance expectations apply to Chime+ sitters and an excess of tardiness or cancellations will result in suspension from the Chime+ program.
